Judy Holmes provides comprehensive employment law and risk management services to employers and businesses of all types and sizes.
Judy has practiced law for over 30 years, and has advised hundreds of employers on a wide range of employment-related issues. She has extensive trial experience and knows first hand how workplace conflict and employment-related litigation can devastate a business. Judy applies her experience to help employers prevent costly law suits by identifying potential problems and working with her clients to develop effective solutions.
Risk management services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each business. Services include employment law training, internal investigations, employment law audits, development of lawful human resource management systems, development of workplace safety programs, and defending employers in actions filed by employees with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Judy received her B.A. in psychology from Colorado College, and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver. She is a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) and is an instructor for the Board Review Course for the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. She is a frequent speaker on a wide range of healthcare and employment law topics, and has authored numerous articles and book chapters on employment law and practice management issues.
Judy is a member of the Board of Directors of Colorado Healthcare Strategy and Management association and the Metro Denver Dental Foundation. She has received an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell.
